Introduction

Dental implants are changing the way people live!

Dental implants are replacement tooth roots. Implants provide a strong foundation for fixed (permanent) or removable replacement teeth that are made to mimic your natural teeth.

Dental implants are becoming the new standard of care with regards to replacing missing teeth. No more grinding down of healthy tooth structure required as is the case with dental bridge work, and no need to settle for floppy dentures. Patients that choose implants over other tooth replacement options regain the ability to eat with confidence and smile naturally

Dental implants are small titanium screws that are gently placed within the jaw, in order to provide a foundation for fixating teeth, or stabilizing a full or partial denture (plate). A well trained implant surgeon can often place an implant in as little as 15 minutes with little to no pain. Implant teeth look, feel and function just like natural teeth. Patients that have implants to replace their missing teeth, regain the ability to eat virtually anything and smile with confidence. Teeth replaced with dental implants typically have a better long term prognosis than teeth replaced by dental bridges, partials or dentures.
